Rain showers will begin this afternoon but quickly change to snow showers, with total accumulations between 2 and 5 inches expected across Northeast Ohio on Wednesday afternoon going into Thursday.

Snow Squall Warnings were issued in Illinois late Wednesday morning, as a line of intense storms brought whiteout conditions and travel delays to parts of Chicago and central Illinois.
