The Hoosiers and Hurricanes are under way in a heavyweight bout that is brimming with historical repercussions.

In the moments after the Hoosiers claimed the CFP National Championship with a 27-21 win over the Hurricanes, Miami’s Mark Fletcher was throwing punches at Tyrique Tucker on the field at Hard Rock Stadium on Monday.

The Hoosiers capped a 16–0 season with the first football title in school history, making them the newest first-time champion since the 1996 Florida Gators.
