Stardust Racers roller coaster stalls at Epic Universe amid cold, windy weather
The Stardust Racers roller coaster at Universal’s Epic Universe stalled Sunday, leaving the ride temporarily stuck on the tracks, park officials confirmed. Experts say unusually cold temperatures and gusty winds — reaching up to 60 mph in some areas — likely slowed the ride’s momentum, preventing it from completing a peak.

Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift will replace the former Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster, which sits near the entrance of Universal Studios Florida. The ride will feature 360-degree drifting maneuvers and a towering 170-foot vertical “spike” that sends riders nearly 17 stories into the air.
