There’s lots of different techniques: stick it, elbow under, elbow up But most everyone has the same goal: keep strikes strikes, catch the balls, and win the borderline pitches I’d encourage each catcher to: -Learn all of the ways -Figure out what works best for you Find a coach who can explain each way and help you implement it. I teach elbow up and screwing the hand up to the shoulder because I believe it’s the best way.
