After everything I’ve gone through, I’ve learned that just because you gave birth to your child doesn’t automatically give you full rights as a parent. It’s so important for unmarried parents to file for parental responsibility whether that’s sole or joint custody to protect themselves and their children. Every situation is different, but what truly matters is doing what’s in the child’s best interest, which is having both parents involved when possible. I’ve been sharing my personal experiences
