Two construction workers were killed in separate construction zone accidents one day apart in Minnesota this week. The first fatal accident occurred Wednesday morning in Burnsville on I-35W, when a worker was struck by a construction vehicle equipped with a boom attachment. The second fatality happened Thursday afternoon in Maple Grove, where a contractor was hit by a dump truck on Highway 610.
