Michael Strahan was an unstoppable force and sack machine on the defensive line at Texas Southern, dominating The Southwestern Athletic Conference. Opposing linemen often double-teamed him, a tactic his coaches referred to as “Strahan rules.” He finished his career as the Tigers’ all-time sack leader, earned two SWAC Player of the Year honors, and was a 1992 First Team All-American. Today, Strahan makes history as the first Texas Southern player inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. v
